New Statement about Healthy Life; New Highlight of U Life Experiences

 Taipei City uses cloud technology to provide interactive experiences in vision, hearing, touch, and body coordination at U Life Village and combine human culture and technology to take care of needs of the elderly and the disabled, including consultation service, rental and maintenance of aids, and a single contact for long-term care service resources, all of which provide a friendly single-stop service for every group. The Department of Health planned the overall design and service orientation, cooperated with departments and offices, such as the Department of Information Technology and the Department of Economic Development, and linked publicly-established private entities including exhibition foundations, seniors industries, non-profit organizations, and experts and scholars to introduce domestic and foreign design industries and education. From the establishment to the official operation, 2,500 people participated in the serial community exhibitions with the percentage of satisfaction reaching 94.2%. Held on May 8, 2014, the inauguration attracted almost 500 participants; one month later, more than 10,000 people have experienced the application. The development of Information Technology was also awarded Honorable Mention of “Health Promotion Cloud Value-added Application Praise” held by Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2013.
